Road crashes claim 17 lives in a day

A total of 17 people were killed on Friday in different road accidents across the courntry, according to the information sent by correspondents

In Mymensingh, a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collieded head-on in Alampur area under Sadar upazila around 11:00 am, leaving seven people, including four members of a family, dead.

Three people lost their lives in a head-on collision between two trucks at Shajahabpur upazila in Bagura district in the morning.

In Moulvibazar, three more people were killed after two CNG-run auto-rickshaws hit one another in Rajnagar area at around 3:00 pm.

Two school studnets died in Jamalpur after their motorcycle crashed into a roadside tree at Sadar upazila in the afternoon.

Another motorcyclist was killed after a bus hit him from the opposite directrion in Faridpur’s Nagarkanda upazila around 8:00 am.

In Chuadanga, a sexagenarian man was killed being hit by a picnic bus at Damurhuda upazila around 10:00 am.
